Bending at the panel edge is the failure test: HDP and PVDF systems flex where cheap PE micro-cracks — visible as hairline rust lines along panel edges two years later.
Slit Widths: The Detail That Keeps Lines Running
- Panel effective widths: 950 / 1000 / 1150 / 1200 mm → skin coil slit to that width ±0.5 mm, delivered ready for the profiler.
- One 40GP mixes widths: e.g. 12 t at 1000 mm + 8 t at 1150 mm + 6 t back-coil — planned against your production schedule.
- Color batching: panels installed side by side must match — we lock the paint batch across your orders so column 1 and column 40 match on site.
Base Steel and Coating Notes for Panel Makers
- Base grades DX51D–DX53D (formability matters — skins profile and bend); S350GD only when panel spans need it.
- Zinc Z120–Z180 standard; Z275 for coastal cold-storage sites.
- Back coat: 5–7 µm standard grey; white food-safe back coat for cold-room interiors.
